We are very happy to announce that we will be opening our doors to the public on Monday, July 6!
The library building will be accessible for picking up holds, browsing the collection, checking out materials, public computer access, and printing.
This phase of re-opening will start with a “Grab-n-Go” atmosphere. We are encouraging patrons to spend an hour or less in the building to allow for a greater number of community members to utilize the library each day.
We realize the library will look and feel different, as we have implemented protocols to keep patrons and staff safe. While this phase starts with limited service, we look forward to getting back to normal operations in the future.
For the safety of patrons and staff, the library has added some new features, including hand sanitizer stations, plexi barriers at each service desk, social distancing signage on the floors, the relocation of furniture, and spacing of public computers.
We will be maintaining a strict cleaning and disinfecting schedule throughout the day. We ask that the first hour of each day be reserved for those individuals considered to be high-risk.
We will continue to offer drive-thru service as an option for the pick-up of materials. Staff are available to pull items for patron pickup, just give us a call at 330-683-1065.
