Winter Reading Challenge 2025

Bundle up with a good book for our January 2025 Winter Reading Challenge. The Challenge is for readers of all ages. Everyone can read books for a chance to win a prize.

Adults will earn a prize entry ticket for each book they read. Teens will read different genres to complete a bingo card.  Each badge earns a prize entry ticket. Children can read, or be read to, for 100 minutes to earn a prize from the treasure chest or a raffle ticket entry for a grand prize.

Home for the Holidays

Join us for Orrville's 25th Annual Home for the Holidays celebration Friday, November 29th from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.  We will be hosting a variety of businesses and organizations that will offer a variety of treats, crafts, and activities throughout the evening.

Trick-or-Treat

Stop by Orrville Public Library on Friday, October 25th from 10am-5pm in your special costume for a safe and friendly Trick-or-Treat experience. All OPL Departments will have treats for our special visitors.

Solar Eclipse Glasses at OPL

We will have Solar Eclipse Glasses available beginning Tuesday, March 26th. Stop by and complete one of the following activities to receive a free pair:

  • Attend an Orrville Public Library program
  • Sign up for a library card
  • Check out a book
  • Complete a trivia sheet
  • Participate in a Learning Station
